The Bridges Dental Surgery has been providing Private treatment under the Denplan Payment plan for over 25 years, with over 800 of our patients enjoying the peace of mind that comes with the plan.

Denplan payment plans are provided by Simplyhealth Professionals, the UK’s leading dental payment plan specialist. They have consistently used a preventive approach to dental care and, with their unique and wide-ranging support services, have been looking after dentists and their patients for over 30 years. They support patients by allowing them to budget for their private dental care and encourage a preventive approach to oral healthcare.

What is Denplan Care

  • Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental treatment
  • The amount you pay is decided by your dentist and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need
  • After an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health (for which you may be charged) you will be placed into one of five fee categories
  • Our Denplan Care plans offer the inclusion of optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is increased by 60p

What's included:-

  • All routine and restorative dental care covered for an agreed monthly fee*
  • See the dentist of your choice
  • Designated appointments for Denplan patients
  • Optional national and worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover.

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

  • Check-ups
  • Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing)
  • Dental x-rays
  • Necessary fillings
  • Root canal treatment
  • Preventive dental advice and therapy
  • Any necessary extractions
  • Periodontal (gum) treatment
  • Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)

Denplan Care does not cover:

  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
  • Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
  • Sedation fees

What is Denplan Essentials

  • Denplan Essentials is is our maintenance plan
  • You can sign up to this plan immediately and you do not have to be dentally fit to join
  • You can opt for a plan to include the right cover to suit you
  • All necessary x-rays are included at no additional cost, and you will receive 10% off any further treatment needed, including filling, crowns, bridges, dentures, root fillings, extractions etc

What's included:-

  • Examination and Hygiene appointments (frequency of appointments dependant on the plan you choose)
  • All routine X-rays
  • 10% off any treatment needed
  • See the dentist of your choice
  • Optional national and worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover.

Denplan Essentials Silver

  • 1 Check-up appointment per year
  • 1 Hygiene treatment per year (including scaling and polishing)
  • Dental x-rays
  • £10.28 per month

Denplan Essentials Gold

  • 2 Check-up appointment per year
  • 2 Hygiene treatment per year (including scaling and polishing)
  • Dental x-rays
